The increasing number of graduates in the engineering stream of education has led to a demand of quality resources; the number which is decreasing with each passing batch of the colleges. As per the estimates published till 2019 (and no better in 2020 or 2021), only 17% of the graduates passing out of the college are really employable in the industry, that is demanding better productivity out of the graduates employed. And this percentage is decreasing year by year. The biggest problem that arises out of this trend is that most of the companies are decreasing the generic fresher intake leading to a lot of graduates jobless or forced to take up the jobs that are not in line with their aspirations and line of study.

This trend is not for freshers alone. When we study the pattern of the employed individuals, a lack of employability factors often leading them to be stagnant in their career path or forced to change their jobs frequently making them unstable in the eyes of any HR of the company. i-merit Program is a solace in this competitive world to the fresh graduates and / or lateral graduates to make their mark in the industry to be better and suitably prepared for employment challenges. The program has been designed by Industry Veterans who have seen all the phases of the market and the industry demand. The designers of the program are still involved in active resource management and increasing productive measures with the employees in their respective organizations.
